Tidewater Express Inc - Wrecker Division

My daughter's car suffered a serious right front suspension issue today, causing the car to spin out and block the exit of a 7-11. The vehicle was completely immobile. We called several companies and were told that they were all too busy, and finally called Verizon road side assistance... they also told us four hour wait time. As we sat, watching the clock tick by in the extreme heat, I saw a company that i hadn't called, and called immediately. BEST DECISION EVER. MY ONLY regret is that I waited two and a half hours to call. The young lady who answered the call was kind, efficient, and clearly knew what she was doing because in LESS than 5 minutes the wrecker was there, and that young man was also kind, polite, and so helpful. They are the TOTAL package, and affordable!!! I wish that I had their names because they absolutely deserve a shout out. It is a rare occurrence that we require a tow truck, but I will never again call anyone else. Thank you both, and Tidewater Express for helping to make a nightmare of an experience a little less tense.

Towed my trucks more times than I’d care to mention, but they are always great. The dispatcher is really kind and informative. The tow truck driver has great communication. Most importantly they are a good honest company that’s not trying to overcharge you. I hope to not need a tow in the future but if I do I’ll be calling them.

Fantastic experience. I have come to trust in Tidewater Express Inc. During my time in the industry. And this latest experience was not different. Friendly service, clear communication, and direct and fast response. Heavy equipment wrecker was on-site and working to get my driver out of harms way within thirty minutes of me calling. It's a rare thing to be able to deliver high quality and fast service so consistently. It should always celebrated when found.

We were called by a client to assist with a tough situation, and Tidewater Express stepped up when others couldn’t or wouldn’t. It was late at night, and they were quick, professional, and got the job done safely. I own a business in Chesapeake and have used them several times for both big trucks and smaller vehicles — they’ve never let us down. Reliable every single time. — John E.
